Overview
Synthasize Me is a self-contained music studio for your desktop: a step sequencer with a grid you can paint, a drum machine with punchy built-in voices, and a synth for melodies and basslines. Set the tempo, tap it in, hit play, and build a groove in seconds.
Everything runs locally and offline — no browser tab, no cloud, no tracking. Free to use; claim your license key and download it straight from this page.

Make your first beat
The grid is your sequencer: each row is a drum voice (kick, snare, hats, clap and more) and each column is a step in the pattern. Click cells to place hits, then press play — the playhead sweeps across and triggers everything you've lit up. Clear a cell by clicking it again.
Add a melody with the synth
Beyond the drums, the built-in synth lets you lay down melodies and basslines. Use it alongside the drum pattern to turn a simple loop into a full groove — all generated live in the app, nothing pre-recorded.
Set the tempo & play
Dial the tempo with the BPM control, or tap it in to match a feel you have in your head. Hit play to loop your pattern and tweak it on the fly; the transport keeps everything in time. It all runs locally and offline.
Install & activate
Download Synthasize Me above (or from your account), run the installer, and launch it. On first run, paste your license key from your account to activate — it binds to this computer. The full account, key, and install walkthrough is in the getting-started guide.
